The Women's Suffrage Movement Papers contains articles, speeches, newspaper clippings, and papers concerning the women's suffrage movement at the state, national, and international levels. Documents date from 1908 to 1918, and include: I. North Dakota materials. Includes documents related to the Votes for Women League, most of which date from 1914. II. United States materials. Includes items from Colorado, Michigan, Georgia, and the National American Woman Suffrage Association in New York City. Also includes the 1908 Socialist Party platform and a copy of The Woman's Journal (6 May 1911). III. International materials. Includes Jus Suffragii (15 January 1911), The Survey (13 July 1918 and 20 July 1918). IV. Plain Talk to Men and Women, a publication related to gender roles, sexual intercourse and reproduction.

Rebecca Ann Latimer Felton (June 10, 1835 – January 24, 1930) was an American writer, lecturer, reformer, and politician who became the first woman to serve in the US Senate, although she served for only one day.
